SUPER GRANDS WORLD GAMES
& Amateur Internationals

Charleston, South Carolina, USA
December 26th - 31st, 2013
DATES

The Super Grands is Thursday, December 26 ending Tuesday, December 31. It all starts with pre-registration on the 25 and 26 and finalizes with a New Year's Eve Party bash like we have had several times before. While we know this cramps the Christmas holiday we simply had very little choice when it was all thought out.

AREA ATTRACTIONS

You may want to hold off on your flight back home and plan a couple extra days for time to visit Historic Charleston . Charleston is raanked the number #1 tourist destination city in the USA acording to "Condé Nast Traveler Magazine"

A Sampling of Popular Attractions include:

BROCHURE & REGISTRATION

The Super Grands brochure is online. We are accepting Mastercard, Visa and Discover credit cards for registration

How to Fill in a Registration Player Card for the Super Grands and Amateur Int'ls

If you have any doubts on how to properly fill out your player cards or your NBL or SKIL rankings, please click on How to - Super Grands Player's Cards for NBL for How to - Amateur Int'ls Player's Cards for SKIL and follow the simple and easy instructions. You can pre-register as soon as the final NBL or SKIL Rankings are available online in late October.

STICK FIGHTING

We will again be offering both point & continuous, single & double stick fighting based on weight for both junior and adults on Thursday & Friday, December 26-27. While the stick fighting divisions will be part of the Super Grands and be titles in their own right, wins in these divisions will not be counted with the overall NBL World Titles at this time. However in anticipation that stick fighting will eventually become NBL World Titles the final two matches of all 28 divisions will be held in the Team & Stick Fighring Grand Finale Friday evening December 27. Read all about it on page 15 & 30 of the brochure.

HOTEL

This year’s venue is the Embassy Suites Hotel & Convention Center (and back-up hotel - Residence Inn). The Embassy Suites is the epitome of accommodations for Super Grands attendees. All guest rooms have spacious bedrooms with attached parlors featuring pull-out sofas. (Larger guest rooms are limited and only obtainable through the NBL call us at 716-763-1111 if interested). Each room is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, wet bar, free internet, two flat screen tv's and overlook the lobby atrium restaurant with hallway balconies. Cook to order complimentary breakfast is included for all guests as well as evening receptions with complementary hors d'oeuvres and drinks for registered guests. The airport shuttle is free and guest parking is also complimentary to hotel guests. The hotel is within walking distance of the Tanger Outlet Shopping Center and the hotel will also offer its guests a shuttle to the downtown Charleston tourist areas for only $10 per person. A great value with luxurious accommodations. You will enjoy your stay and the ease of walking from the guest hallways through the sky bridge to the competition area.

Like last year, the best rates for Super Grands entry fees will require you to be registered at the tournament hotel (except local attendees with certain zip codes). Entry fees will increase approximately $100 per division if you’re not staying at the Embassy Suites Hotel or our back-up hotel Residence Inn. All this information is in the brochure pages 32-33
